Easter Weekend at New City
What’s happening at New City Presbyterian Church this Easter? In addition to our usual Good Friday (April 19) and Easter Sunday (April 21) services, we’re excited to host a community pancake breakfast and egg hunt on Saturday, April 20. Learn more about each of these events below and over at our events page.
On Good Friday at 6:30 p.m. (April 19), we’ll gather to read and sing through the story of the last hours of Jesus’ life. Childcare will be provided for children ages 4 and under. Click here to register for childcare; childcare RSVP deadline is April 13.
On Saturday (April 20), we will host a pancake breakfast (featuring pancakes, sausage, fruit, OJ, and mimosas) for our church and community at 9 a.m. An Easter egg hunt will begin at 10 a.m. outside of the church building.
On Sunday (April 21), we will celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with our Sunday worship services. We'll gather at our regular times of 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
We are currently in need of several volunteers for our nursery and children’s classes during both Sunday services. If you’re in town, please consider volunteering and serving our church family in this way. Click here to sign-up.
A couple professional photographers from our congregation will be around taking free portraits (1-3 per family/group/household) for later digital download. Look for them around the front of the church building in between services and after the 10:45 a.m. service.
