It might be hard to believe, but 2020 is a few short weeks away! We know your schedules are full with holiday preparations, and we wanted to make sure some upcoming registration deadlines didn’t fall through the cracks. 

In January, we hit pause on community groups so that we have space to enjoy some other events as a church family. Here’s a list of all the church events happening the first six weeks of 2020! Deadlines are in italics. 

Theology Labs: Wednesdays in January

Deadline — January 3, 12 p.m.

Our Theology Labs are designed to be short-term, focused opportunities for topical study, discussion, and reflection. Meant to supplement and support weekly worship and community groups, this round of theology labs will happen once a week on 4 Wednesdays in January from 6:30-8p beginning on January 8th.

This round of offerings include: Beautiful Orthodoxy: Gospel Change w/ Josh Reitano; Faith & Work w/ Mike Previtera; How to Read the Bible: The Gospel of Mark w/ Abigail Murrish & Ryan Zhang; and, The Common Rule w/ Brian Ferry. Watch the video below for more info.

Women’s Bible Study: Begins Friday, January 10

Registration Deadline — December 29, 12 p.m. 

Calling all New City women! Come join us Friday mornings 9:15-11:00am as we study 2 Samuel.

Early Morning Readings + Prayers: Begins Friday, January 10

Registration Deadline — December 29, 12 p.m.

New City women, join us on Friday mornings for an early morning women's group. We'll be using the church's weekly Readings and Prayers and the Field Guide for Daily Prayer. No childcare provided.

Intro to New City: Saturday, January 11

Registration Deadline — January 3, 12 p.m.

Intro to New City is a seminar designed to help you get to know the church a little better.

Intro to New City is a pre-requisite to membership at New City, however, attending the seminar does not commit you to membership. It’s something we hope all regulars at New City will experience and if nothing else you get some free food and books!

Women’s Quarterly Dinner: January 18

Registration Deadline — January 10, 12 p.m.

We would love for you to join us on Saturday, January 18 for our first Women’s Quarterly Dinner of 2020!

Missional Motherhood: February 8

Registration Childcare Deadline — January 31, 12 p.m.

New City Moms of all ages and stages! Join us for the next quarterly event to celebrate Christ by engaging and encouraging mothers of all ages as we seek Biblical direction in living intentionally as mothers. 

Our speaker will be Gina Sanders, director of community relations for Eve Center of Cincinnati. Gina will be discussing the subject of "Catching Uncomfortable" - identifying anxieties, resolving conflict, and improving communication.
