Remembering

“One of the immediate changes that the gospel makes is grammatical; we instead of I; our instead of my; us instead of me.” (Eugene Peterson, Reversed Thunder) | Virtually everyone felt disrupted, disoriented, and isolated at some point in the last year and a half. Our rhythms and patterns changed, our connections were made more difficult, our sense of community faded. This Autumn at New City we're going to be asking, What does it mean to be put back together? How do we relearn the patterns of gospel community? If the pandemic was a dis-membering of the body, what does it mean to be re-membered?
