Living in the Gap: Winter Sermon Series

How do you feel when there seems to be a huge gap between what God has promised, and what you are experiencing at the moment?

This Winter we're going to be looking at the life of Abraham from Genesis 12-25. Wherever you're at, you need to know about Abraham. Jews, Muslims and Christians all trace their civilizations back to him. So you'll never be able to understand world history without knowing about Abraham.

You won't be able to understand the Bible unless you know about Abraham, because the Scriptures (both Old Testament and New) are chalked full of references to him.

And, unless you know about Abraham, you won't really know what it looks like to live faithfully in the gap between promise and reality. Abraham lived most of his life in the gap. And the Bible calls him "the father of all who believe."

Join us on Sunday mornings this Winter as we let Abraham point us to the promises of God and the God of promises.
