One of the highlights of 2020 has been our Ojos art exhibit that helped kick off the new year to correspond with the Signs sermon series.  Many of our New City Kids participated and contributed beautiful, handmade Ojos!

We will soon be starting a sermon series on 1 Corinthians 13, we want to invite our New City Kids to join us in creating another piece of art in collaboration with our church family!

HERE is a special NCK version of the printable made by Pastor Brian with the statement “Love ________.” 

Help your child think through...

• How they have been challenged to love better during these weeks of the COVID-19 quarantine.
• How they have been loved well by others during this difficult season.

Please help your child fill in the blank, using one of the descriptors of love from I Corinthians 13!

(Included in the printable are several versions of 1 Corinthians 13 that you can make use of to help your kids complete the sentence. Please be sure to use only descriptors from 1 Corinthians 13 to complete the sentence.) 

The NCK version of "Love Is" has special block letters for the kids to color, decorate or paint!  Encourage your child to be creative and have fun making their project beautiful!

Once your paper is finished, take a photo of your paper. Then, email your photo to abby.murrish@newcitycincy.org.

Here are some tips to get a great photos:

• Lay the paper flat on the floor or table. 
• Make sure there’s plenty of natural light.
• Take the photo on landscape mode.
• Leave a bit of space around the edges of the paper.

Bonus: if you’d like, take a picture or short video (5 seconds or less) of yourself holding your paper and email that along with your photo of your paper. We might use your photo in our web and social media presence.

We are excited to see how our New City Kids tells us ways in which they love or feel loved!  Thank you for being a part of this collaborative art project!
