Mark Drisoll has some wise things to say about being discerning when it comes to popular culture.  Too many of us turn off any kind of discernment with popular media, saying "It's just entertainment."  Driscoll says, "Movies are just sermons with pictures."  He has some especially helpful things to say about preteen literature, and the Twilight series in particular.
