Parking can be a challenge on Sunday mornings. Please respect our neighbors and park properly, especially leaving at least 3ft from bumper to driveway apron. For more parking help/information visit: newcitycincy.org/parking

Around the Web (Indelible Grace in Cincinnati)

I'm realizing the post title "Around the Web" is inaccurate, since some of what we share here has less to do with the web and more with what's happening in and around Cincinnati.  If you have any suggestions for a new name for this weekly (or almost weekly) post, let us know in the Comments section below.

:: Indelible Grace in Cincinnati this weekend - Matthew Smith and Indelible Grace are in Cincinnati on Saturday.  Grace and Peace PCA are hosting the concert at the Leapin Lizard in Covington.  $7 in advance, $10 at the door.  Show starts at 7pm.  Click here for tickets.

:: More music news - Both Caedmon's Call and Andrew Peterson have new albums.  I'm enjoying them both.  Raising Up the Dead is the new Caedmon's album, produced by Derek Webb.  Counting Stars is Peterson's new album - good, solid songwriting as always.

:: A Pastoral Response to Ann Rice - As you may have heard, novelist Ann Rice is "quitting" the church.  She's not leaving Jesus, just institutional Christianity.  I have really enjoyed some of Rice's writing over the years, and was thrilled when she converted to Christianity not long ago.  So I was dismayed to learn of her decision to pull away from any kind of church commitment.  I am so glad Mark Driscoll wrote this warm and truthful pastoral response to her.

:: Practical Ideas for Family Worship - Tim Smith offers some very practical suggestions for worship with your family.

:: Joey Votto on the cover of SI - Get to the newstands now - Reds firstbaseman Joey Votto is on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
