Getting Ready for Sunday | 4/22/12
Worship means, literally, acknowledging the worth of something or someone. It means recognizing and saying that something or someone is worthy of praise. It means celebrating the worth of someone or something far superior to oneself. (N.T. Wright)
When we gather on Sundays, we do so to celebrate and affirm the worth of God. We hope you'll join us THIS Sunday. Here's a preview of this week's gathering:
We've only got a couple weeks left of our Living in the Gap sermon series. This week we'll be walking through the entire chapter of Genesis 24:1-65 as Josh preaches on Knowing God's Guidance through this story of Isaac and Rebekah's connection.
Our songs for this week are:
- Come and Welcome
- I Need Thee Today
- 10,000 Reasons (This is a new one for us so spend some time with it and be ready to sing out on Sunday!)
- It is Finished
- On Jordan's Stormy Banks
- Let Your Kingdom Come
It's going to be a great gathering this weekend! Come on and bring some friends!
