Church Planter/ Lead Pastor - Joshua Reitano
Josh and his wife, Paige, moved to Oakley in the spring of 2009 to plant New City Church. While Paige is a native Cincinnatian, Josh grew up in Columbus. He completed his undergraduate work at Miami University in Mass Communication and joined the staff of Campus Crusade upon graduating. Josh worked to plant a new campus ministry at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands before returning to Miami University to complete an M.A. in Comparative Religion. From there, Josh went to Princeton Seminary to complete a Master of Divinity. He moved to Cincinnati to work as an Assistant Pastor at North Cincinnati Community Church in 2003, and remained at NCCC until planting New City.
Paige has worked as a banker at 5/3, book-keeper for Back2Back Ministries, a nanny, and most recently as a freelance book-keeper. Their daughter Lucy was born shortly after the New City began meeting for worship.
Administrative Assistant - Amy Samad
Amy was born and raised in Cincinnati and currently lives in College Hill with her husband Jacob, and their son Jack. She graduated from Miami University in 2000 with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. After teaching and nannying since college, she is enjoying her new role as a mom. You can often find Amy in the kitchen baking her favorite desserts or acting as Jacob's sous chef.
New City Kids Coordinator - Mallory McDaniel
After graduating from Ohio University in 2009, Mallory moved back home to Cincinnati. Mallory and her (then boyfriend) Derek were among the first to attend New City's initial community groups. For the past 2 years, Mallory has worked part time at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy Preschool. She married Derek in November of 2010. Mallory enjoys reading, swimming, crafting, and playing with all the kids at New City!
